Here’s the one thing you should avoid!

We live in a very busy world.  My calendar is always full and I’m sure you too have a laundry list of things that need to get done.  We have gotten accustomed to always being busy and running around trying to get it all done.

I can’t stress how important it is to prioritize your day.  If you don’t, you will get caught up in a crazy rat race.  At the end of the day, you’ll have accomplished very little and feel even more stressed out than you did to begin with. So I urge you to create of list of what must get done by YOU and do the most difficult first.

I stress YOU, because there are lots of things you’re doing that could probably be delegated to someone else and that would not only shorten your to-do-list but also minimize your stress.

So what is really important and what can you delegate?  Don’t be a control freak!

Here’s the one thing I avoid like the plague are meetings.  They’re often a total waste of time.  It’s a formality that is of little value.  You have to drive to and from, sit and wait in a lobby, wait for other people that are running late and sit through the formalities of a meeting.  YUCK!  Not to mention the complainers and the wandering off topic.  Many of the things discussed in a meeting can be done over a Skype call or email.  I like bullet points.  Keep it short and sweet and efficient.

Take back your calendar, your time and your life.
