What Is Your Greatest Pain?
I’m not talking about physical pain. I’m referring to what are you tolerating?
Here’s a story you might resonate with…
There was a guy that walked to work everyday and as he passed one particular home, there were 3 dogs out by the porch. Two of which would bark and the one that would just whimper and cry. Day after day, it was the same thing, two barked and one just whimpered and complained. So one day he decided to stop and knock on the door and ask if everything was ok with the dog. The owner opens the door and he proceeds to ask if everything was ok with the whimpering dog, too which the owner replied, “yes”.
“So why is he whimpering” asked the passerby. “Well, he sitting on a nail” replied the dog’s owner.
The gentleman asked, “so why doesn’t he move?”
“I guess the pain is just not bad enough” replied to owner.
You see there are things that you complain about on a daily basis but yet choose not to do anything about it. You whimper, whine, complain and bitch about it to everyone that will listen, but you don’t make moves. You don’t change a thing. You continue to tolerate it and wonder why you’re stressed, frustrated and angry.
I’m here to tell you that to achieve what you want you will have to do the thing that you don’t want to do. You have to get uncomfortable enough to make shift happen. So let me ask you, what nail are you sitting on? What are you tolerating at home, at work, in life?
What are you going to do about it starting today? Leave me a comment or message me.
